Near life-size Chinese terracotta pottery horse with pad saddle on rectangular base. Overall 1.5M high approx. Provenance: purchased by the vendor in China from the workshops near/at the museum of 'Qin Terracotta Warriors and Horses' in Xi'an, China. (B.P. 21% + VAT)
Appearing in good overall condition, very dusty and grubby. The base appears to have repaired cracks, but possibly in the manufacture. The tail is separate and removeable.
